Every vacation has to eventually end...

Luke is very helpful with loading up the luggage

So then Pookie has to rest on a lounge chair by one of the pools after his hard work packing up!

Luke napped most of the way home - he had a great vacation! We all did - hope everyone had a great time on their summer vacations!

Hershey Park - last page!

Leenie and Rich were brave enough to try out the roller coaster "Fahrenheit"

Luke and I were happy to sit this out, even though Lenz and Rich had fun!

The 1st ride has to be the Carousel!

Luke tries out the "Wack a Mole" but is a little too short to really get a swing going...
...the woman running the game gave Luke a monkey anyway, just for being so cute!

Luke was kind of freaked out by the giant Peanut Butter Cup...but he DID enjoy his first taste of Reese's!

Our Pennsylvania Vacation

We began our vacation by visiting an Amish village, and then a mini amusement park named "Dutch Wonderland" -

Me and Luke

Here's Luke on his FIRST ride by himself - a tractor that moved slower than a turtle..but he enjoyed it!

Our Summer Vacation in Pa

Luke's Aunt Leenie was brave enough to take a vacation with us at the end of August - we headed to Lancaster County in Pennsylvania for 3 days of fun in the sun! We stayed at Willow Valley Resort, which had 3 pools and a mini water park, and went to Amish Country and 2 amusement parks: Hershey Park and Dutch Wonderland. This was Luke's 1st vacation and he seemed to love every minute, as you can see in these photos...

A sleepy Luke was ready to go in his car seat with his NY Hershey Kiss doll from Leenie by his side!

First morning we woke up in the resort - love that squinched up nose!

More pictures on the way...

Taking Luke's photo is always an adventure...

I tried to capture Luke on his 18-month-old birthday - September 14, 2008:

Maybe he'll sit still if I put him in the big leather chair...

Will giving him his motorcycle help keep him still? Doubt it! But doesn't he look excited to see it?

Luke says - OK - I'm up - better move quick Mom!

Luke is ready to jump off the chair - that's it for this photo shoot!

There's our active and happy baby boy - now a toddler!
